The information below outlines our 'Shipping Policy', with order processing times, delivery services and what to expect from us :)
Order processing

Please note that our time frame for order processing may differ depending on the time of year that the order was placed. And processing times may increase during peak promotional or seasonal periods where we may be experiencing higher order volumes.

Delivery to Remote Areas
Delivery times may vary depending on your location.
The delivery times listed above are indicative, and may vary if you are based in the Scottish Highlands or other remote areas.
In this instance, standard delivery times are expected to be around 1 to 7 working days.
Delivery to BT postcodes is estimated to be around 5 to 14 working days.
Please note, that delivery couriers may also request an additional regional surcharge in specific areas. In this instance a member of our team will contact you to confirm the exact fee payable, however it is noted that this fee will not exceed £50. We can only apologise if these feeds are required and are working our best to improve our services (to help mitigate the risk of unnecessary fees within the future).
Delivery Terms
Unless we have expressly agreed otherwise with you, delivery times stated on this page are indicative estimates rather than guaranteed. We will deliver your goods without undue delay and in accordance with the time-limits required by the applicable consumer law. Nothing in this policy limits any statutory right you may have where goods are delivered late. In particular, where delivery has been expressly agreed as essential, or where the circumstances make timely delivery essential, you may have statutory rights if that deadline is missed.
We will always try our best to meet the estimated delivery period, however delays can occur due to events outside of our reasonable control (these may include but are not limited to: courier delays, adverse weather events, access restrictions and Health & Safety concerns.) It is noted that Co-Habet will not be responsible for losses caused solely by circumstances that are outside of our reasonable control, or for losses that could not have reasonably been foreseen when your contract with us was formed. Nothing in this paragraph or policy statement excludes or restricts liability where it would be unlawful for us to do so, including any rights and remedies you have under consumer law.
To avoid unnecessary costs, we strongly recommend that customers arrange installation only after an order has been received and checked.
Co-Habet cannot accept responsibility for avoidable costs where customers have arranged installation before an order is received / checked.
Where delivery cannot reasonably be completed due to circumstances outside our reasonable control, we will work with you and/or the relevant delivery provider to arrange an appropriate alternative where possible. If we are unable to make a delivery within an agreed or legally required period, then your rights will be determined in accordance with the applicable UK consumer law.
Delivery Requirements
All deliveries must be received and signed for by a person over the age of 18.
We do not knowingly sell to children and orders may only be placed by persons aged 18 or over.
If no-one is available to take the delivery, we will leave details at the address to rearrange a re-delivery or a refund. If goods have been returned to us because a delivery is not completed (due to circumstances for which you are responsible), then Co-Habet may ask you to pay any reasonable additional delivery or return costs before arranging a re-delivery. These costs will always reflect the actual cost incurred by the business, and will apply where permitted by law and where these costs have been made clear to you.
Where you exercise a statutory cancellation or refund right, any refund of delivery charges will be dealt with in accordance with applicable consumer law. For example, where the Consumer Contracts Regulations apply, the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option may also be refundable, even if you originally selected a more expensive delivery service.
Checking Your Delivery
Co-Habet strongly advise our customers to inspect their goods at the pint of delivery before signature. If this is not possible and you are not able to inspect the goods when they arrive, you may ask the courier to record the delivery as 'unchecked' where this is possible.
Signing for a delivery confirms that the goods have been received, but does not, by itself mean that you have accepted that goods are free from damage and/or defects. This statement does not remove or limit your statutory rights under the applicable UK law.
If you have discovered that an item is damaged, faulty, un-fit for purpose, incomplete or incorrect, please contact our team as soon as reasonably possible, so that we can investigate the issue and help resolve it. Please see our Returns & Refunds policy for further information.
If possible, we kindly ask that all visible transit damage or shortages are reported to our team within 3 days of delivery. This 3 day period does not limit or remove any rights that you have under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other applicable consumer legislation, however it will help our team to address all delays in an optimal manner and best help you come to a reasonable solution.
If a fault has been identified, our team may ask you to provide photographs or any other reasonable information about the goods and packaging. This will help us to investigate the source and cause of the claim, and will not affect or limit your statutory rights.
Kerbside Delivery
Co-Habet will deliver your items to the specified location, however unless expressly agreed otherwise our deliveries will be kerbside only.
We strongly advise our customers to make suitable arrangements to move the goods safety from the delivery point, as our delivery service does not include carrying goods inside your home, building, garage or any other private premises.
Please note that where reasonable, our customers are responsible for ensuring there is suitable and safe access for the delivery vehicle and that any relevant access restrictions have been disclosed to us before delivery.
Risk & Responsibility For Goods
Co-Habet will generally assume risk of loss or damage until the goods have come into your physical possession (or a person identified by you) to receive them, in accordance with the applicable UK Consumer Law.suitable It is noted that an exception may apply where you have independently arranged your own carrier and that carrier was not offer to us as a delivery option (in which case the rules may differ).
It is noted that after the goods have been passed to you, risk has passed to you and Co-Habet will not be responsible for any loss or damage that is caused by customer misuse, negligence, improper handling, maintenance storage or installation. This could also apply where products are not looked after in a suitable way and installation procedures have damaged our deliveries. Please note that this does not affect your statutory rights in relation to goods that were already faulty, damaged or otherwise not in conformity when the items were delivered.
